Description
The communities of Souris and Souris West have worked, in partnership with the Prince Edward Island Department of Environment, Labour and Justice, to assess climate change risk and vulnerability. The purpose of this assessment was to identify and discuss the impacts of a changing climate on the communities of Souris and Souris West, and to consider possible means to lessen these effects (develop adaptation strategies for the future). Coastal hazards (storms, erosion, and flooding) were the focus of this assessment.
