Description
Climate change is a significant and long-term challenge impacting communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Changes in our climate will continue to impact sea level, storm surge, coastal erosion, frequency and intensity of storms, flooding, precipitation, and temperature. To become more resilient to the impacts of climate change, communities will need to assess where they are vulnerable to these impacts and strive to implement adaptation measures to protect people and infrastructure.
