Description
The Municipality of Cumberland is a large, rural municipality that faces significant, diverse and wide-spread challenges as a result of climate change and sea level rise. The Municipality was therefore a motivated participant in the ACAS Project, attending information meeting, workshops and reviewing new materials and studies, and volunteering for the MCCAP Guide Mentor project. This report summarizes the Municipality's participation in the ACAS Project and indicates how it will approach Climate Change Adaption Planning over the next two years.
